Passionate about sustainability, Jono was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2015 which saw him travel to seven countries to investigate how effective recycling of urban and agricultural waste can provide positive outcomes for the agriculture industry.

Darren Long is the Managing Director of MG Farm Produce in Sheffield, Tasmania. Darren is passionate about soil health, and started Soil First Tasmania as a way to encourage other growers to recognise the importance of healthy soil and provide them with resources and information.

It’s their life’s work, and one that pays back their passion with the satisfaction of doing a hard job well, and the knowledge that they’ve made a difference to the future of the industry. Andrew Craigie is one of those growers. Andrew works at Craigie Bros, his family’s farm in northern Tasmania just outside of Devonport, where they grow potatoes, vegetables and quite a few things besides.
